Now, that spring is approaching and lots of flowers bring some colour into Nooderplantsoen, it’s time to go outside for a little walk, enjoy the sun (if it’s out) and free your head from study stress with inhaling the fresh spring air. If you also...

A kinderboerderij is a little farm, where kids can watch and pet animals. It’s like a little zoo with farm animals, so mainly goats, cows, rabbits and lots of chicken and ducks. And even though it’s originally made for small children to experience nature and see for example where their eggs or milk come from, it’s also always a great joy to watch the goats beg for food and pet a huge cow.

There is one kinderboerderij in Stadspark opposite of the area where Kingsland always takes place. There is another one in the area of Ulgersmaborg (debeestenborg.webnode.nl) and one in Vinkhuizen, in Lewenborg and in Beijum (dierenweidesgroningen.nl). They’re usually for free and open every day (except for the one in Beijum, so check out the website).
