Shopping

The Herestraat in Groningen is the longest shopping street in the city, and houses many well-known Dutch and international stores. Fashion addicts can shop here for shoes (Van HarenVan Lier) or clothes (ZaraJack & JonesH&M and many more). When taking a break from shopping you can grab a coffee at the small but cozy Favolosa. However, the Herestraat is not the only shopping street in Groningen. Do you fancy a bit more original clothing, some creative furniture or organic food? It is definitely worth visiting the many small sub-streets surrounding the city centre. You will discover more original and less standard shops that are definitely worth a visit! The Folkingstraat is often said to be the coziest street of Groningen, and houses many stores specialized in art, interior design and lifestyle.
