About us

GroningenLife is a platform for prospective students in Groningen. We are a group of enthusiastic students who can tell you everything about student life in Groningen. On our platform you can find information about studying, hotspots, culture, associations, living, sports or work!

With a lot of students in all corners of the Groninger student life, we have information for everyone, whether you want to become a member of an association, look for a challenge during your studies or want to find a job. GroningenLife is a campaign of the Groninger Alliance, the University of Groningen and the Hanze University of Applied Sciences. At the head of the campaign is the main team which consists of three students who lead the campaign on the right track.

Next to the information on different important topics for students, we also share articles, videos and TikToks which let you take a look into the life of a student. Our content is created by the editorial staff: students with a talent for writing articles and/or creating videos. The editorial staff consists of writers, video makers and TikTok creators who make Dutch as well as English content. In addition, GroningenLife has a promotion team which informs upcoming students during events and organizes city walks through the centre of the beautiful city of Groningen.
