The University of Groningen have a career services that aid you in finding a job. They assist by checking and help set up your CV, Linked In and cover letter. They also offer training sessions and courses to support you with the interview process, how to go about looking for a job and skills and techniques to give you an advantage through the recruitment process. If you have never had a job before or could use some advice on the process in the Netherlands they are the people to visit.
If you are a student of RUG, you may have noticed the career tab on nestor. This Tab can give you more information on the Career services offered by the Uni and includes a search portal where you can create an account and upload you CV and cover letter onto the site to apply to jobs/internships within the university and from your faculty. There are other non-academic related roles put there too. Advertised there are also upcoming business events and classes, held by the career services that you can also sign up from directly.
You could always visit them in person by going to their office or one of their business events. They also have a point of contact for each faculty, which you can be found on the university website. Their website includes tip and tricks, how to make a LinkedIn account and a link to their blog- which addresses general career, related questions and topics.
